The Diemme Marostica Mid Trainer for spring/summer ’11, seen here in ash grey. Using their vast hiking boot experience and translating it into the medium of trainers, Diemme have produced a hiking boot / trainer hybrid with authentic design flourishes crafted from the finest materials. Made from amazingly soft suede, the trainer has the iconic hiking boot shape but is as comfortable to wear as a pair of slippers. The whole trainer sits on a simple gum sole, but above this the trainer is loaded with hiking boot detail, most notably the lace set up and the double-layered tongue, which has both an internal and external layer for comfort and to keep out the elements. Proudly handmade in Montebelluna, Italy - the manufacturing capital of hiking and ski boots – the trainer is finished with a subtle Italian flag tab on the heel .
