The Diemme Marostica Low Trainer for spring/summer ’11, seen here in white. Using their vast hiking boot experience and translating it into the medium of trainers, Diemme have produced a hiking boot / trainer hybrid with authentic design flourishes crafted from the finest materials. This low-cut trainer blends an archetypal trainer shape with iconic hiking boot details, most notably the lace set-up and the double-layered tongue, which has both an internal and external layer for comfort and to keep out the elements. Perhaps the most remarkable thing about this trainer, however, is the material. With a soft white leather upper and inner, which particularly accentuates the silver d-ring lace fastenings, the trainer exudes quality. Proudly handmade in Montebelluna, Italy - the manufacturing capital of hiking and ski boots – the trainer is finished with a subtle Italian flag tab on the heel.
