The New Balance H710P Mountaineering Trainer for autumn/winter ’11, seen here in black. A new style for 2011, the H710 facilitates the marriage of New Balance trainers with classic walking boot styling. The result is a comfortable and functional hybrid that would be equally at home on the highstreet or the hillside. The H710 features authentic hiking boot detail, such as D-ring lace fastenings, contrasting hiking laces and a thick, grippy sole. The New Balance ‘N’ on the side comes in a subtle tonal colour, while the upper is made from a premium leather. The trainer is an evolution of the New Balance Rainer, a previous hiking hybrid created for mountaineer Lou Whittaker of the Rainier Mountaineering Guide Service.
